Maho Bay

Calm, shallow, and famous for sea turtles grazing the seagrass beds. Go early with coffee, snorkel before the crowds, and you'll likely swim alongside a turtle before 9 AM.

Trunk Bay

The postcard. Underwater snorkel trail, powder sand, and the overlook photo everyone comes home with. Small entry fee, worth every dollar once.

Hawksnest Bay

The first North Shore beach on the road out of Cruz Bay, and often quieter than its famous neighbor Trunk Bay. Good shade from sea grape trees right at the sand.

Salt Pond Bay

Coral Bay's local favorite — a short hike in keeps it quiet. Excellent snorkeling along the rocky points and the trailhead to Ram Head for a sunset hike.

Cinnamon Bay

The longest beach on the island with space to spread out, boogie-board-friendly surf on breezy days, and shady seagrape trees when you need a break.

Hansen Bay / East End

Minutes from the villa on the wild East End. Calm, clear, uncrowded — and the closest launch point to paddle or dinghy out to Lime Out.

Honeymoon Beach

Reachable by an easy walk from Cruz Bay via the Lind Point trail. Watersports rentals on the sand and a beach-bar vibe without the crowds of Trunk.

Salty Daze Charters, featuring Salt Deck

Our pick for a Coral Bay boat day. Salt Deck is Salty Daze Charters' famous double-decker pontoon with a waterslide — a Coral Bay icon. Snorkel the mangroves at Hurricane Hole, keep an eye out for buried ship's anchors and an old naval cannon still sitting in the sand, then cruise over for a day trip to Lime Out.

Kekoa

Our pick for a sunset sail. This hand-built, black-sailed catamaran was salvaged out of Hurricane Hole after Hurricane Irma and rebuilt from the hull up — now she sails sunset cruises out of Cruz Bay, and the story is worth asking the crew about.

Our favorite restaurant on the whole island, full stop. Colorful, laid-back, genuinely great food — and Shambleland, a dedicated kids' play area right on site, which means parents actually get to finish a meal.

Day 1

Arrive & exhale

Ferry in, pick up the Jeep, grocery run at Starfish Market, then straight to the villa. Pool, sunset over Coral Bay, dinner at Skinny Legs. You're on island time now.

Day 2

North Shore classic

Early turtles at Maho Bay, late morning at Trunk Bay's snorkel trail, lunch in Cruz Bay, afternoon nap by the pool. Repeat as needed for the rest of your life.

Day 3

Lime Out day

Paddle or boat out to the floating taco bar you've been staring at from the deck. Afternoon at Hansen Bay. Dinner made in your villa kitchen while the sun does its thing.

Day 4

Hike & hidden beaches

Reef Bay Trail or the short Ram Head sunset hike from Salt Pond Bay. Cool off with a swim, then a proper dinner out — Indigo Grill or La Tapa.

Day 5

Boat day (trust us)

Charter a day trip to the BVI or around St. John — Waterlemon Cay, Willy T's, the works. It's the day guests talk about for years. Ask us for captain recommendations.
